The bodies of a boy and a girl aged around 17 were found hanging from a tree in Deer Park in Hauz Khas on Sunday. The initial investigation indicates it to be a suicide, the Delhi Police said.
The park security guard, Baljit Singh, informed the police at 6.31 am today. "Police staff reached the spot and found that a boy and a girl, aged about 17 years, hanged themselves with the common nylon rope on a branch of a tree," the police said.
The crime team was called for inspection and bodies have been shifted to the mortuary. Further proceedings are under progress, the police added.
