Former Karnataka DGP Om Prakash was found murdered at his residence. His wife is detained as a suspect.
Former Karnataka DGP/IGP (Retd.) Om Prakash, a 1981 batch officer, was found murdered at his residence in HSR Layout, under the jurisdiction of the South East Division Police. "He was allegedly killed by his wife. An investigation is underway. Further details are awaited," Karnataka Police stated, as per news agency IANS.
Police have detained his wife in connection with the matter, India Today reported.
